About Kringle

Kringle is currently enrolled in our 8 week basic obedience course. While there he will learn basic commands such as: sit, stay, come, leave it, and heel. He will also work on crate training, leash training, and socialization with other dogs. He will complete his training and be ready for his new home on 5-16-23. Kringle was a stay. He came to us in bad shape. He was underweight, his white fur was yellow for urine staining and he had some urine burns on his skin. From what we saw we believed that he was kept in a crate constantly and not fed very well. Kringle has been a sweetheart since being here. He eats from a slow feeder and is fed several smaller meals throughout the day. Kringle is putting on weight and is looking so much better than when he came in. He knows how to sit and is working to be consistent with it. He loves to walk and explore outside. Kringle does not seem to know a stranger and will talk to anyone to get them to give him attention. Kringle currently weighs 29 pounds. He still forgets that he is not starving any more and can eat quickly and be quick to grab a snack. He is learning and improving daily.
