About Pablo

My name is Pablo! My birthday is on Christmas and I just turned 6 years old!! I am 61 pounds of love and there are two things I am excited for when the new year arrives: more cookies and a new family to share all my love with! I am very loving, but highly energetic. I need a yard to run around in, and would love to go jogging, hiking, and learn a job! When I've used up my energy I enjoy laying around with the family. Since I'm still young (four is adolescent in pittie years) I need significant attention, and exercise - both physical and mental. I love big yards and would benefit from a yard that's fenced in so I can safely run around to help get my energy out. While I have done well around other dogs, and never shown signs of guarding, it would be best if I am the only dog in your home. With professional training and a very patient dog to guide me, my dog to dog social skills will likely greatly improve. At this time though I would not be a good candidate for doggy-daycare. My life has had some changes, recently. After being leaving the family I had been with since I was a mere pup of twelve weeks old, I moved in with new human and we were living the bachelor life together. I recently found myself back in foster care and am adjusting to the change. An adopter who is willing to be patient as I adjust again would be appreciated. I was raised around small children and have always loved people. I forever have a happy-go-lucky attitude as you can see from my ear to ear smile, and I have a huge heart. I am housed trained, crate trained, and strive to take treats gently. I can follow commands such as 'sit', 'lay down', and 'go to to your bed [crate]. With the changes in my life, a home that is committed to helping reinforce my manners would be great. We can go to classes together, or work with a trainer, I love cookies, and besides it's a fun way to establish a new relationship! Housebroken, crate trained, great with kids, and full of life, love, with antennae ears and a grin that you can't help but smile back, I am the pup you've been waiting for to join your family in the coming year!
