Moira is a sweet girl who is a professional biscuit maker. She is friendly, but a rough player who needs her nail trimmed regularly. Previous cat owner is a must. She does not mean to hurt anyone, but you must know how to pick up a cat properly. Small children not recommended. --Ok with small dogs-- For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. Mississippi is overpopulated too many animals, not enough homes, and many high kill shelters. For Pet's Sake Rescue saves each animal from a different background. For Pet's Sake Rescue transports animals to other states with better adoption potential. Our goal is to keep animals alive and out of kennels into their forever homes as quickly as possible. Each animal is quarantined and vetted during their time in our care. Each adopted pet is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and has current flea treatment unless otherwise noted. Once we review your application and check your vet reference, we will contact you to proceed. If both parties agree to the adoption, we will send you an Adoption Contract with an invoice. Once the invoice is paid, your pet is 'on hold' for you to pick up or we can transport the pet to you during a scheduled transport. Transports are arranged for specific dates. We will discuss these dates and locations with you during the initial phone call. We are currently unable to adopt pets to MA and RI residents. If you found our adoptable animals, we have other animals available in your area. Any of our adoptable animals can be transported unless otherwise noted in their profile.
