About Dover

***Poor Dover has been waiting too long in a kennel for a home...he is only a year old and needs a loving home ASAP! Please read below and fill out application if he's a match for you. Amazing Dover (Located in Phoenix, AZ) Another AMAZING pup still waiting for his fur-ever home! So crazy!! I took Dover out on a day trip to give him a break from the kennel life. He is getting very stressed living in a kennel 24/7, he's young and needs a home. Dover was so excited to get out and he jumped right into my car, he rode well in the car. I had placed a dog seat belt on him. We arrived at our first stop where we met up with another volunteer and fur pup named Choco Taco. Dover was so excited he pulled on the leash off and on during our walk/hike, he was interested in the ducks, he would have jumped in the water if I allowed him too. He took correction well. He knows sit and always took his treats gently. Dover is a young pup at around 1 year old, he is very playful, loving and he loves to snuggle. We came across a stream of water which he seemed to enjoy walking around in. He makes a great hiking/running buddy. He is very smart and loves to learn. Dover never reacted to joggers, people riding bikes or other dogs walking nearby. He enjoyed the fresh air, sniffing and just exploring. After our first stop, I took him to get hamburgers and a pup cup, which he enjoyed. Dover was such a pleasure taking out for the day, he will make a family very happy. Come meet Dover!! He is worth it!!! Dover is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
