About Yoshua (Yoshi) Finnyee

Hello Shelter team. Here is Yoshi's story: Having just adopted a dog, I am in desperate need of help rehoming Yoshi. In order to save Yoshi from being euthanized, he was rescued. Originally a stray, he was fostered for a short period of time. The foster family could not keep Yoshi for much longer, so I wanted to provide foster care until his forever home could be found. Since I lived outside of the area for foster care, my only option was to adopt him. He was one week away from euthanasia, and the date had already been set. I was terrified he would be in the same situation again. Keeping him safe and sound in my home is my top priority. The biggest mistake I made was not introducing Lilly and Yoshi before adopting him; I felt there was no time left. Lilly, my other dog, isn't being herself, and I feel terrible for putting them in this situation. Is there a way you can help me find him a forever home? About Yoshi: He is such a loving, sweet boy that needs a lot of training and time spend with his family. He loves other dogs as well as cats, but he needs a lot of obedience training since he is still a puppy. He is almost house-broken and starts to show signs on how to let us humans know when he needs to go potty. Yoshi has done absolutely nothing wrong at all. I am the only one to blame for making this irrational decision and feel heart-broken to let him go.
