About Rachelle

My name is Rachelle and I'm a pretty girl looking for my forever home! A kind person found me out on my own and brought me here where she knew I'd be safe and get adopted. When I first arrived I was very overwhelmed by the shelter environment. Change is hard for cats and this was a huge change for me. For a while I'd just stay hidden and try to avoid all interaction. After a couple weeks and with some gentle encouragement I started to show my true sweet and affectionate personality. I love gentle snuggles! I even start giving sweet kisses when I get snuggly. They say that earning the trust of a shy cat is an incredibly rewarding experience and I think that's true. Once you gain my trust you have a loyal companion for life. I need a quiet and calm cat savvy home with an adopter who can be patient with me an knows how to show me I'm safe and loved. I think once I know I'm 'home' I'll really come out of my shell and be a curious silly happy girl.
