About Athena

We rescued Athena from a high kill county shelter. She is the cutest little penguin. Athena is up to date with vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. She is about 38 lbs and according to our vets best guess she is an American bully Am staff mix - somewhat of a mini bully. She was a shelter favorite but had gone unnoticed at the shelter for too long and was on the kill list. She is about 5 years old. This Summer- Athena was swarmed by bees at a boarding kennel and almost didn't make it. With over $2k in vet care - she is doing much better and is certainly ready for her forever home! She gets so excited to see us and wiggles her little body! Athena loves going on walks and gets very excited to see her person. Athena also likes other dogs. She has loved playing with dogs her size and has also shown that she likes little dogs too! Athena is simply amazing!! She is good around children - we would recommend a home with children 6 and above. Only because she could accidentally knock a baby over. Athena comes with a free week of professional training and a lifetime discount on training thereafter.
