About Arlo

Arlo is a healthy adorable German Shepherd Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier/Husky mix. He is the Brown Dog in the photo. We just got DNA results back from Embark that confirm his mix. He is just about 2 years old. He is in a foster home and doing great. He goes to doggie daycare and the daycare staff Love him! He gets along great with the dogs there. Looking for a home that can work on consistent obedience training and give him lots of exercise. He has been through a basic obedience program with his previous owner. He just needs follow-through to reinforce everything he has learned. No homes with cats. His previous owner rehomed him because they had a house cat that he chased all the time and felt they could not train him out of that and it was too hard to keep them separated. He is very friendly with people and loves attention! He used to live with a female Lab (they got along great) and is now in a foster home where he has a male Shepherd friend and is doing great with him too. Not sure yet how he is with small dogs. He is 76 lbs. He can be adopted through cbrrescue.org. He was surrendered by his previous owner to CBR Rescue as a Chessie/Lab mix. But his foster decided to do a DNA test to find out for sure what his mix is. A home with a secure fenced yard would be best for Arlo. Please email me for more info and more pictures.
