About Terry

I need to find a new home for my pup due to growing financial and health issues. He's the sweetest, goofiest, most loyal baby anyone could hope to have. Need a cuddle buddy? This is the dog for you. I have wasted countless hours just watching him be hilarious. He is 4 years old, house trained but does need someone with experience and a yard preferred as he has a prey drive. He's never hurt anything but he will chase smaller animals in pursuit which could be dangerous for him if he's not on a leash or enclosed. He's also characteristically Akita in the sense that's he's pretty quiet (doesn't bark) except occasionally when he's extra excited to see his friends or if a stranger walks up to your house. He all round displays excellent protective attributes and would make a great companion to someone. He very loyal. He loves to find things and bring them to you. Everyone who has met him says he's their favorite dog and has inspired a few friends to get their own dog. Having to re-home him makes me sick to my stomach but I'm now disabled and can't give him the attention he deserves.
