About Rocket

This is a McNabb Border Collie we have been told. He was rescued from the highway. He was dumped and stayed at the same spot for a couple of months before we finally caught him. It was a community effort, many people stopped to try and get him but he was very skittish and would run away if you tried to get close. People would stop and put food and shelter for him. We are told this breed is fiercely loyal and that he would have stayed at that spot forever. He needs to be with someone who will show him lots of love and attention. Also, we will only adopt to a family that will keep him as an inside dog but with a FENCED yard to play in. He will run as he is still looking for his owner. It will take a while for him to get comfortable with a new owner but when he does he will be loyal forever. This is a special dog, very sweet and loves to be right next to you and to be loved on. He gets along with our other dogs, kids and adults. He is up to date on his shots and vet believes he is around 2 years old. If you do not have all of the qualifications listed above, please do not respond as we want him to go to his forever home and be loved like he deserves.
