About Bambi

Welcome Bambi! This sweet girl is about 2-3 years old and 11lbs. We believe her to be a min-pin mix. She was found as a stray in June 2022 at a park chewing on a bone on the hot asphalt parking lot. The Good Samaritan inquired w/the park personal & other people. They got her checked for a microchip but none found, drove the dog around the neighborhood but no one knew her. She was wearing a flimsy cat collar with no ID. She was brought to her current foster to keep her safe until her family was found. After a month of searching no family came forward and we were contacted to help find her a home. Bambi is good with people and loves to ask for pets. Has not been around kids. She can get excited, be wiggly & jump up on you but if you tell her to, she settles down quickly. She likes to sit next to her human but prefers to settle on your lap better. Smart girl understands 'stop', 'wait', 'stay' & 'sit' but can be inconsistent. She is fostered with other dogs and cats and does well with them. She does well on walks, is potty trained, loves treats and is calm on car rides. Her foster says, 'Bambi adjusted quickly. From day 1 she ate & drank well. Bambi is very sweet natured. She's curious but not destructive. She is nearly perfect & very lovable. She is deserving of all the love, affection & commitment that a new pet parent or family could offer her.'
