About Lucy

Lucy �����%8F is a golden retriever mix who we rescued at the demand of a failed and fraudulent sponsor. She came to us with her 10 puppies and the whole family had distemper. It's a death sentence. With zero funds for the expensive vetting they would need we did a fundraiser and intervened as best we could. Sadly over an 8 week battle the puppies passed one by one. Until there was none. ���� we did however save LUCY!!! She's about two years old. Very shy at first and may even bark at a stranger. It's clear to us that she was hit with objects like a broom and a cellphone she is petrified by both. Once you earn her trust - she loves you so so much. Listen, this dog knows what she's been through/ and she knows who has loved her and cared for her for the last 6 months. She likes other dogs. She has a rough and rowdy play style. We think she does best with male dogs that are her size. Lucy may play too rough for smaller dogs. She is beautiful and not too big. About 55 lbs. she is spayed and utd on vax. She is microchipped and ready for her patient furever people to come forward.
