About Axel/Wendy Bonded Pair

Axel's (black and white) happy meter (tail) is the thing that moves in our house the most. The only time it's not wagging is when he is taking a nap after playtime or sleeping. When you see him and it going, it will instantly brighten your mood! Axel will be the one that follows you around the house and wants to be near you/get pets as much as possible. He loves to come up and sit right in front of you and wag his fluffy tail to entice you to pet him. He is a Husky mix who is a sweet and gentle boy. He really loves being with his humans. He is good with everyone he meets, including kids and strangers. He loves everyone instantly. Axel even likes cats but will chase them if they run. Since his sister, Wendy, isn't a fan we are looking for a home without cats or one that has cat(s) that are very dog savvy. Axel is a gentle, obedient and submissive boy that also loves play time and long naps stretched out on the floor. He has traits of a herding dog so when it's play time, expect a little vocalization to come from his mouth when he is having fun. He is house and crate trained and walks very well on the leash. He is also an awesome travel companion and loves road trips. So long or short ones, pack him and Wendy up and take them with you. You all will love the companionship. Some of the great things about adopting an adult dog! You can skip some of the crazy puppy stages and go straight to the 'good stuff'!! This boy, and his sister Wendy, will need a 5ft fenced yard for their playtime. Therefore, not a fit for apartments or condos. In the hot summer months, Axel is not a fan of being outside for any length of time. He prefers the A/C and cool floors so make sure to adjust expectations as seasons change. DOB 05/01/2019. A visible smile is on Wendy's(tan dog) face when she runs full speed across the backyard. She loves to play fetch, chew on her toys, and play with Axel (her bonded brother). She is a precious sweet girl and is gentle, submissive and she loves to snuggle near you on the couch. She loves getting pet on her chest and belly. She will always try to put her paw on your arm when being pet as it's her way of connecting back with you. After playtime, Wendy is ready to come inside to take long naps curled up on the couch. She is the sweetest little sleeper during those couch naps. She is a very loyal dog that is smart and obedient. She is already house and crate trained. She walks quite well on the lease but is quite energetic so be ready to walk a little fast. She is a great 'work out partner' especially for the start of a new year. Wendy and her bonded bro, Axel, will require a yard with a 5ft fenced yard so they can get out and run around and play together. It's one of their favorite times of the day. For this reason, not a good fit for an apartment or condo. Wendy is kid friendly but due to her size older children are likely best. She is on the gentle side and is a little timid with strangers but warms up as she gets to know them. No little kitties for this girl. Also, she is dog friendly but will chase littler dogs and wants to try and herd them. Do you travel quite a bit or jump in the car on a whim?
