Pinto Bean is a sweet boy who likes to play and cuddle with his kitty buddies. His favorite toys are springs, play mice and anything that swings from a rod. He gets along with all other kitties and has the most unusual stripe markings. Pinto is shy and gaining more confidence every day. He will need a quiet home with a patient cat owner to help him continue gaining confidence. No one knows what happened to Pinto before we rescued him to make him so fearful of being picked up. When approached he communicates his fear by hissing but he is so gentle he is never aggressive. When picked up he rolls up in a ball, never striking out or attempting to scratch. Once in your arms, he starts to relax and purr when being petted. He is very easy to handle for nail clipping, loading in a carrier, and putting into a kitty harness. Pinto just needs time to learn to trust and realize no one will hurt him ever again. A cat whisperer, older child or adult who will mother a shy kitty is ideal. Pinto just needs daily, loving interaction for his amazing personality to blossom.
