About Duke

Dukes is a 6 year old Catahoula mix. We adopted him from a shelter in Tennessee in 2017. He was appx 1 year old then, and had some training, but loves to run and must have gotten separated from his original family. He loves everybody and wants to hug them! He has been an amazing pet, but has become super anxious when we leave for work, probably due to being home with us for almost 2 years during Covid. Now that we have to go to work, he isn't happy being left alone and tends to chew things up or bark. He LOVES to run and chase after tennis balls or ducks, lol. We live on a lake and he keeps them off the grass nicely. We are very sad to have to rehome him, but feel he would be much more content if he could be home with someone all the time and we are just not in a position to do this.
