About Fiona

It's with a heavy heart that we have come to ask this, and we wouldn't ask unless it was a truly unworkable situation. We lost our 13 year old Ukrainian rescue dog earlier this year and to fill that void and bring in another friend for our other Ukrainian rescue dog, we found Miss Fiona at our local shelter. We brought her home and she's been so wonderful with us and integrating into our family. Unfortunately, our other dog is not getting along with her and constantly trying to put Miss Fiona in her place and it's not fair to her. Miss Fiona is house trained, uses a doggie door or lets you know she has to go out if it's closed, and is trained to be in a crate with no issues during the night or while you're away for a bit. She's been enjoying our large yard and the family but it's just not a workable situation as our other dog is not accepting it. Fiona is a pit/cattle dog mix, loves kissing on kids and cuddling with adults. She rarely barks and we hope that there is someone out there who could give her a better home life than our household can. She is about 8 months old and about 35lbs and 20' tall. She is scheduled to be spayed but if someone wants to adopt her prior to her appointment we will cover the procedure.
