About Blue

Blu is a 9-year-old 95 lbs. male gray American pit bull terrier. He was rescued at 3 weeks old. He was raised by my son who recently had a baby. She is quickly growing up, and her toys and such are taking over the small home they live in. Blu is large for his breed, and unfortunately, with the baby growing, the home is just too small for both baby and dog. I work in the medical field, and work long hours which is not good for Blu, otherwise I would take him. I am hoping to find a family who has space to enjoy this very playful, loving, excitable dog. I can't see him going to a shelter and possibly euthanized if not rescued. He is good with other dogs and children, the only caveat is he is very anxious. When he is greeted, he is excitable and high-spirited. He is lease trained, responds to come/stay/sit/give paw commands. Blu will most certainly be a wonderful addition to your family.
