About Dem' Bones 50

Please read this post in its entirety. If you do not- and fail to provide the requested information, I will not reply. Dem' Bones is a Is now ready to join a new family. He is 4 year old Frenchy/bulldog mix weighing in at 50 pounds. He is a delightful, enthusiastic boy- with excellent potty manners, primarily an indoor boy who is always camera ready- but be quick! There is something about the flash of light that intrigues him; so laser lights are not a good idea; he could become a laser junky. He adores riding in the car, and playing with water- but not necessarily in the water. He does well with other dogs; not sure about cats- however did have a Hamster buddy. He could use a refresher course on leash manners. He has lived with small children and enjoyed their energy. Dem' Bones can be vocal and will alert you with passersby activity on the sidewalks and delivery drivers and mailpersons. So his ideal home probably should not be on a busy sidewalk community. A more rural area with fenced yard would be more appropriate. He has enjoyed doggy care from time to time and delights in games of tug-a-war with other dogs. As is common with this hybrid - he can be susceptible to allergies- which is well controlled with apouel. He is up to date on vaccines and shots, neutered, and on parasite prevention. He has a controlled diet and snacks on string beans and blue diamond kibble. Originally from NM, his owner has loved and cared for him since he was a wee puppy. Unfortunately- a company transfer leaves Dem' Bones seeking a new family. Please tell his guardian advocate about you, your family, your activities, your property, the city in which you live, other pets in your home and whatever else puts you on top. The more information about you - the better. What can this companion expect from you and what are your expectations of him? If you do not provide this information, do not expect a reply. This is not a first-come placement. Age appropriate- that is right- I choose to be age discriminatory! This pup needs a vibrant active family; if you are 70 or so- this is not the companion for you- regardless of how active you are. if you are nonambulatory this is not the placement for you. Additionally, we will not meet halfway. You must prepare to meet in person without hurry. Prefer placement within 400 miles. Be willing to have a home evaluation and viewing of your social media. There is a fee for placement of $500. Homeowners will take priority over renters; not because I have anything against renters; but because the volatility of the housing market and no-fault eviction is just too shaky; I would not want this dog displaced because you lost your housing. Please allow several or more days for a response- as I review inquiries. A gentle and final reminder- If you send a one-liner- You won't get a reply.
