Sakaya or Kaya for short, is a Border-Collie Huskey Mix. Color's are black, brown, and white. She does have the husky fluff tale. Kaya is about 50lbs, and is currently Spayed and fully up to date on all vaccinations as well as microchipped. I got Kaya when she was a 6 week old puppy. Trained her myself; She is fully potty trained and Kennel Trained, She can Sit, Laydown, Stay, and doesn't need a leash when I walk her. When I got Kaya I had no kids, I now have 3 young children. Kaya seems indifferent regarding children, however prefers to be left alone, or specifically not touched by kids. I have had her give 'warning' bites to my own children, not breaking the skin. Kaya has built rapport with her Vet, Paws To Care in Bernalillo. Kaya also has built a lot of rapport with her groomers 'The Wild BirdHouse' also in Bernalillo, right next to Paws To Care. If you do take Kaya I would recommend using those 2 locations for any grooming or veterinarian needs. Kaya is also Microchipped, just in case. I can tell you Kaya is a companion animal and loves cuddles, Loves camping, Loves going on walks. She is not a barker at all. So if she does bark, pay attention, something is going on. If you do have kids, as long as they are old enough to give commands to Kaya, you will have no problem. Just don't let a toddler back her into a corner and pull her ears.
