About Romeo

Romeo is a 14-year-old, buff-colored domestic cat. We found Romeo and his two siblings in our back yard when he was about two weeks old. Their mother was still in the area, but it was evident that she wouldn't be taking care of them for long. So, we brought them into our home and have loved them greatly. We named him Romeo because he was the one that just loved to cuddle up and romance us. Romeo weighs about 15 pounds. He's pretty trim and is just a larger cat. He is an indoor cat, has been spayed, and is declawed on the front paws. His demeanor is gentle and loving and he loves to be held, brushed, and tickled. He is comfortable around guests and strangers and quick to socialize. (Note- we have no experience with him around dogs so can't judge if that is possible; but he has been around other cats besides his siblings and seems to get along.) Romeo is active for his age, loves toys and the scratch pad. He appreciates brushing and will sit still and then turn his body to be sure all parts get brushed. Like most cats he takes frequent catnaps, especially when he finds a warm spot near a fireplace or in sunlight reflecting through a window. He likes to lay on his window stand while looking out a window, or on the back of a couch. During the day, he'll come plop down beside you when you're watching TV or reading. He is in good health overall. His last checkup was in October this year (he has always had regular vet visits) and his vaccinations are up to date till 2024.)
