About Josie

Meet Josie! She was one of the cats we took in from the recent hoarding case of over 45 cats. We estimate her age to be between 3-5 years old, but do not know for sure. Josie's story may just break your heart, but here goes.�'�|. Like the other hoarding cats, Josie came in with upper respiratory and eye issues. She was treated with antibiotics and eye medication like everyone else and seemed to be doing a lot better. As you can see in the picture, her left eye has some scarring from untreated infections in the past. This likely affects her vision in that eye. Everything seemed to be going well for her until we discovered blood in her cage and on her. We took her to our vet who determined she was pregnant and that things were not going well at all. They immediately took Josie to be spayed as the babies and the pregnancy could not be saved ���� ���� We were warned that Josie would likely not survive the surgery, but thankfully, she did! She has finished her medications and is healing nicely.
