About Eva

Eva is housebroken and knows some basic commands. She will go in a crate when you leave the house. She loves treats and is an avid chewer -- Nylabone types are one of her favorites. Eva is very protective of her family. She grew up in a home with children however when the newest baby came along, she became anxious and out of sorts. Eva will need a home that is low traffic and quiet, without children. She forms very strong bonds with her 'people' and would do best with someone who has had shepherds before and knows the breed. Eva's adopter will have to be understanding and go very slow with her to give her time to adjust and with some patience and work allow her to become the good dog she is meant to be. Eva is about 4-5 years old and 53 pounds. Please help Eva find the loving home she is looking for! We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
