About Moultrie

We have to rehome at least two of our three dogs because of a situation with our hoa. It's not something we are doing lightly or happily but I would love for them to find a loving family who will appreciate them and everything they have to give. All three of them are crate trained, good with cats and kids, walkable on a leash (although the oldest needs a no pull harness), and very friendly. They are likely to chase smaller animals when outside and I wouldn't trust them with chickens or hamsters. Mostly they love to snuggle and try to be lap dogs. They are fine either going for walks (meaning they walk on a leash fine, but they act agressive if they meet other animals and bark at other people) or hanging out in a fenced yard. Neither of them have ever bitten anyone or anything else or destroyed any furniture. Moultrie, who is a 7 yr old, white with black spots, medium sized Catahoula (possibly mix). He has some anxiety and tends to whine if he has to be away from our oldest dog, Sumter. He also can be a little jealous of the other dogs and will push in front of them for pets. He also is a little too anxious for city living and would be much happier with fewer noises and people. Mostly, he wants a soft place to sleep and someone's knee to rest his head on while he tries to slide closer and pretend he's small enough to be a lap dog.
