Emma is a loving, affectionate, and happy girl who wants nothing more than to be by your side! This sweet Mama came to Tucson all the way from an overcrowded shelter in Dallas, Texas where her and her puppies were e-listed for 'behavior towards livestock'. We were told that Emma killed a cat and chickens, but there are no further notes. Since being in Tucson, Emma has not been around any livestock or cats but is doing well with other dogs when given a slow introduction. Emma walks nicely on a leash, is learning to relax in a crate, and seems to be housebroken. She is 2/3-years-old, spayed, microchipped, and UTD on her vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting Mama Emma please visit hopeofdeliverance.org to submit an adoption application! Mama Emma is currently going through heartworm treatment. She is finishing up her round of meds before she'll have a break and start receiving injections to finish her treatment. Once injections start she will have to be on complete crate rest so we'd like to get her settled into her forever home before then. App: www.hopeofdeliverance.org
