LOCATION: McKinney, Texas DOB: 11/23/2015 (estimate) My name is Cruiser and I came from a rough life of living outside on a chain. These days I'm spoiled like CRAZY! I am your classic Velcro Dane that will follow you everywhere you go. Most of the time I am lounging on the couch napping but get very excited when it's time for my walks. I do very well on a leash as long as you use a gentle leader even though I'm still getting used to it. If you use my name and tell me not to pull, I'll come right back to your side immediately. I'm a very good listener. When my human is gone, I spend my time in a kennel because I'm still learning what being an inside dog means. If I'm alone and bored, shoes seem to have a strange way of ending up in my mouth. I am potty trained. I'm also very much a counter surfer and will snatch any food off the table if possible. It's just because I'm so curious! Even though I wasn't getting regular meals before, I do not resource guard my food at all. I'm used to sharing a space with my foster sibling and love to be around him, but I'm still working on meeting other dogs. I am hit or miss on whether I want to be friends with another pup. Slow introductions are key to my success. My foster momma calls me a 'loverboy'. I love any and all humans. I just want to show love and show everyone what a good boy I am. I will do anything for food of any kind. And I have learned that toys are super fun to play with. And tennis balls-oh boy-they are my favorite!
