About Ziggy

LOCATION: Chichester, New Hampshire DOB: 9/28/2017 Ladies and Gentleman, it is with great pleasure that I introduce you to The Magnificent, The Marvelous, The Majestic-Ziggy!!!! She will astound you with her amazing abilities to sit on command and shake with both paws. She will astonish you with her speed and agility as she dashes and zooms in excitement. If you are looking for talent-she can both carry a toy ball in her mouth and go outside to use the restroom-at the same time! And don't get us started on her snugglebug personality. Off the charts! She could've been named 'Shadow' since that's where you are going to find her-right next to you! The delightful Ziggy will take your breath away with her flair for being around other dogs. (Slow and controlled introductions, of course!) She tolerates her kennel but sometimes needs a little coaxing to go in on her own. Her favorite place to sleep in her foster home is with her 14 year old human brother. Ziggy can be a little protective of her favorite fans so a home with children over 12 years old would be ideal. And the reports are correct-Ziggy is food-motivated! She loooves treats and she gets so excited her butt wiggles and she can't sit still in anticipation. But sometimes her love of food goes into overdrive. If given the opportunity, she will eat all of her foster sibling's food from their bowls. Her foster pawrents feed her in the same room, but not next to, her doggie siblings. And she has been caught red-handed cruising countertops, although this has improved greatly in her foster home. You will be awed at her bewildering ability to greet her guests with so much excitement that her two feet come up off the floor. But as this has not gone over well with the crowds, she is learning to curb this behavior. Using words like 'Down' or 'Off' are helpful reminders for her.
