About Lou

Hi future family for Lou! We're Jess and Carli, a Nashville-based couple looking to find a new home for our sweet & energetic boy Lou. Lou is crate-trained, knows basic commands (sit, stay, go in your place, lay down), is leash-trained, and housebroken. He is a goofy, fun-loving boy, and he loves to play outside, chew on sticks & bones, carry soft toys around the house, and cuddle right in the crook of your arm. He is anxious, especially when it comes to other dogs (fear / protective response), and thresholds (high levels of excitement). We've worked with a trainer, including in-home visits and a training camp. We ultimately feel he'd have a happier & more fulfilling life in a home without other dogs (we have another Aussie), where he could be given one-on-one attention and training. He would do best with a person or family who has owned a dog previously, and has access to a fenced-in yard or a neighborhood to go on walks in. Lou is a smart, joyful boy - he can't wait to meet you!
