About Laela

My goodness this sweet girl is still here?! We cannot believe it. Laela is a very sweet and loving 3 year old girl. She came to us after getting in a bit of trouble with the law. But all good she is now on the straight and narrow! Since she has cleaned up her act she has requested that her new home have no cats or small animals and have a fenced in yard preferably a privacy fence that is 6 feet tall. This will help her continue to be a good girl! She is still deciding on if she wants to be friends with other dogs, she will let you know when that decision is made. On the bright side she ADORES kids!! Literally she has gone a few Doggy Day Trips (a special volunteer will take dogs out of the shelter for the day and go on hikes, to the beach, or just have fun with them) the last one was playing with 8yrs old to 12 year old kids and she was loving every minute of it! The volunteer had this to say about Laela: Laela melts my heart! She gently jumped up on my daughter and hugged her at their first meeting. Yes....she actually hugs you! Laela likes every person she meets and seems especially fond of kids. She was a sweetheart in the car, easy for my daughter to walk, extremely affectionate, LOVES belly rubs.
