Meet Sheba. Named by my grandson. Sheba is a shepherd mix with maybe Husky or Shiba Inu. Sheba seems pretty easy going and house broken. She gets along with my Pomsky and my son's Rotti. She likes my cats and was well behaved at my son's house with his cats. She looks at my ducks and quail but does not try to get in their pen or show any prey behavior towards them. We feed birds here and get very large flocks landing within 25 to 50 feet. She does not chase them. She seems to be very attached to me at the moment but does love attention from my grandchildren. She stays close to me. And comes when I call most of the time. She has ventured farther as she becomes more accustomed to her surroundings. She alerts to people approaching or driving up. I am working on leash training and going up and down different stairs. She learned mine, but shied at my son's. She seems to be submissive with the two dogs I mentioned. I haven't introduced her to my Danes yet. My male is aggressive and I probably will not at all. My female is 2 and has a tremendous amount of energy. So taking it slowly. She is not food aggressive toward my dog, cats, or me. She will eat out of the kids hands. She somewhat knows Sit and paw (not shake). Working on her manners, though hers are not that bad. Will work on place and stay. Will set up a kennel and start that training also. I have never fostered dogs. Oh, and she like treats. She is mostly gentle when taking them from you. She learned for the first time how to play with a toy. I will get her a couple more tomorrow. I think she would crawl through glass to get to her person. She will make a very wonder dog. I found her on the side of the road. She ran towards a car then jumped back when it didn't stop. When I stopped, she crawled up to me shaking and tried to climb in my lap. I was sure she was dumped and put her in my car. After my appointment, I took her to the vet and found she was not chipped. I put her on several websites and no one has claimed her.
