About Lucky

Lucky was picked up on the side of the road, the week before Thanksgiving, by animal control. �%A0He had been hit by a car and could not stand up.�%A0 �%A0We got involved immediately and got him to the vet where X-rays showed a fracture to one of his rear legs. �%A0�%A0Awaiting amputation surgery, due to holiday schedule and no vets available to perform it, the bones�%A0began to heal on their own, and vet thought he made great progress and recommending saving the leg, and we agreed!�%A0�%A0�%A0The vet estimates�%A0he is about14mos, and his nature is very sweet and frienldy like a typical boxer mix. �%A0 He is small at 32lbs and needs to gain a little weight in a loving home. �%A0 To foster or adopt Lucky, please apply online at Buttsmutts.com�%A0
