Meet Lenna! She turned 2 years old in March and is a mix of Spanish Mastiff Pyrenean Mastiff Great Pyrenees and Akbash. She was spayed March 31st, updated on her shots and currently weighs 96 lbs. She needs a home in the country with lots of land so she can continue living the lifestyle she is use to. She is a livestock guardian dog breed, however she has not had training. She chases goats and quite possibly chickens. We would love her to go to someone who has a big property and no livestock or someone who is experienced in training and can possibly work with Lenna using positive reinforcement. She is shy when you first meet her, but she loves people and is often very silly once she gets comfortable. She has a sweet motherly instinct and often pushes on you with her nose. She is a super sweet girl. We would love to find her a home with lots of property, and a fenced yard. We would hate for her to run away if she wasn't acclimated, so we would love a fenced yard as a requirement. I have been working with her on leash walks, she use to try to chew the leash, but has gotten a lot better. I think she would be a great family dog because she is so sweet. She is allergic to chicken, so she's currently eating Kirkland beef dry dog food. We don't know if she would get along with other dogs. We would like to do a home check or at least require pictures of her shelter and yard to ensure she goes to a good home.
