About Flo

Meet Flo! She is 11 months of age. She weighs 40 lbs and yes, she is full grown. She is a Portuguese water dog/standard poodle mix. She is spayed, current on all vaccines, microchipped, thourely examined/cleared by our vet, had a wonderful spa day with our groomer prior to her spay, and is simply ready to begin her journey to finding the best home possible! She is crate trained and currently sleeps in a crate at a night. She is working on leash confidence in new environments, as she wasn't socialized at all with the outside world prior to coming to us here but day by day she is blossoming into a beautiful lively free spirit who has discovered her LOVE for water. She LOVES to swim and would be very happy if her new world consisted of a home with a pool, or a family/human who frequented areas of water she could happily play in. She is doing great at house training as well, and listens very well to our direction of understanding inside and outside as she was sadly only an outside dog in her last home. she is NOT a barker, truly loves everyone she meets, just a tad shy at first. She is phenomenal with all dogs here and loves to run and play any chance she gets. She is a lover, and is learning that being loved in return is quite special. She soaks up ear rubs, and has learned her name, and will always come when called especially when a special treat is waiting for her. We adopt out of state and can come to you if you can't come to us as long as transport is covered. Her adoption fee is 1500. It covers all vet costs, overall time and care since with us, and her training we have been implementing daily since her arrival.
