About Max

Max was left tied to a chain abandoned at his home after his humans moved. They were my sisters neighbor. We did get law enforcement involved but that ended up a dead end. We took him to the vet and he is not microchipped. He was an outdoor dog only so he was INFESTED with fleas which we have gotten rid of completely. Got him all vaccinations and on a wormer. He is heart worm positive which we will address once we finish stomach meds for worms. Please help. We can keep until we find him the perfect home, but he's not in an environment that is good long term. My husband and I both work twelve hour days and can't keep having someone come to house to let him outside. We have already potty trained him, but he can't stay inside for 12hrs straight. He's great with kids and men and women adults. Not startled by strangers but wouldn't be good with other animals in home. He's still decompressing from an abusive environment. He is such a sweetheart.
