About Bambi

Meet Bambi! We found Bambi on the euthanasia list at a Texas kill shelter called BARC. They had found her as a stray, and no one came to claim her. We were able to save her! She is now with a foster in Texas waiting for her forever family. She will stay in Texas until either a foster opens up in MA, or her family comes along! She has a large scar that she had when she was found. It's 100% healed now, but we can't imagine what she's been through to get that. She deserves her forever home!! She is a Black Mouth Cur mix, about 2 years old and 64 lbs. Here is some info from the shelter and her foster: 'Bambi is a very chill and easy going dog! She was laying on her bed and chewing her bone when I walked up and was patient while I leashed her. She walked really well on the leash like she's been here a thousand times before. She walked super calmly down the kennels and said hi to another dog through the bars and wagged her tail! She does well with other dogs and takes treats nicely.' 'Bambi is a big goofball. Also an alpha but not as aggressive as Squishy/Yogi. She's done well with all of my misfits except for my Blue Heeler. But that's because he went after her. He's one of my asshole dogs.
