I took her in a year and a half ago from a family member who left her in the front yard all day in front of a busy, loud main street. She never went on walks. She never got a chance to be peaceful and became reactive towards other dogs and people walking by. Her face got torn up from her fence guarding the brick wall. My plan was to rehabilitate her and find her a new home, but time continued passing. We started obedience training and she has improved so much. She is now able to go on walks and has learned that the world isn't so scary when someone has your back. Chanel loves to play fetch, tug, and go on walks. She loves to follow me around the house. My favorite thing about her is when I massage her neck and she starts talking as if she's saying 'keep going please.' She is extremely food motivated and has learned commands quickly. Unfortunately, I am also rehoming Chanel due to my allergies and eczema. This is a very difficult situation for me. I love them very much.. but I am torn between my health and my dogs. I am just trying to figure out the best option for all of us. Thank you very much for your help and understanding.
