Bertie Bert is a young, white and gray tabby with deep amber eyes and a heart of gold to match! Barely a year old, he is healthy, neutered, current on all vaccinations and microchipped. He is FelvFiv negative and completely parasite-free. Bert, unlike most other cats, loves to give sandpaper kisses! While he is shy at first around new people and animals, you'll find he warms up quickly. He is actually quite the attentive and loving kitty! He and his mate Ernie were rescued as kittens and cared for in foster for their first year. While their foster family wanted to adopt them, their infant developed a severe allergy. So, they came to us. Bertie is very much looking forward to a new family as his brother, Ernie was just adopted. If you can't yet commit to adoption, fostering is a win-win: we provide all food, supplies, and vet care. All you need to do is give a loving home to enjoy each other. It's also a fun way for responsible teens to earn service hours! If you or anyone you know is interested, please contact us. If you can't foster but want to contribute toward his continued health and safety, please consider making a donation.Every little bit helps! Venmo: @EastCoastPetRescue Zelle: [email protected] To ensure the right fit for both Pet and family, all of our adoptions are 'foster-to-adopt'. This means that, whatever the reason, we will always accept the pet back to our care, in one of our homes (not a cage at a boarding facility or shelter) if the adopter(s) has a change of heart or circumstance. This is one of the many benefits of opting to adopt from a local Rescue organization over a store purchase or shelter Adoption. East Coast Pet Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, where all donations are tax-deductible. Receipts available upon request. 305-916-EAST(3278) [email protected]
