About Tucker the Bluenose

Tucker is a handsome, loving and super smart blue pitbull. He is about 1 year old and is about 62 lbs. He loves to snuggle up with his favorite people, and also loves to play outside. He does okay with other male dogs with a slow and proper introduction, but because he was recently neutered he still gives female dogs too much attention. He will need a slow introduction to other dogs that will be in his new home, but he would do great as an only dog. He walks well on a leash, and is crate and potty trained. His rescuers in Texas tell us that he is super smart, and has already learned several commands such as sit and shake. He can be a little bull headed and can play a little too rough, so his new family should be prepared to take him to training or be experienced in this area. He is neutered, up to date on shots, tested heartworm negative and microchipped, he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. He is being fostered in Muskego, WI. His adoption fee is $350. Tucker's adoption fee will enable us to finance our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis. Holds are handled on a first-come, first-served basis with respect to the first person to place an exclusive hold deposit as instructed by the rescue. Once you have made the deposit, it is refundable so long as you show up to meet the dog on the agreed date. Prior notification of an intended no-show/non-delivery does not constitute showing up.
