About Remi (FKA Baby)

LOCATION: McKinney, Texas DOB: 10/28/2020 (Estimate) Hi, my name is Remi, but I will answer to anything as long as it involves attention, love and affection! That's right, I adore people. I would be happy to cuddle them for most of the day. We would have to take a few breaks for my bursts of energy though. Since I love my humans so much, I can be a little anxious if I know they're home and I can't get to them. I do fine when left in the house unattended though, as long as it's not for a long period of time and not in a crate. Outside of people, toys and food are my favorite things! My least favorite things are probably storms and vets. I also prefer to be the only dog, I am not aggressive but can be snappy - I like undivided attention. Cats are ok, but I prefer you pay more attention to me than them. I am potty trained and will ride in the car. I do enjoy going on walks but I haven't mastered this skill yet. My foster mom uses a gentle leader with me. She says more training would be necessary if you want to go on proper walks and use a regular leash. My foster fam has 3 kids and I do fine with them but I do prefer a low-energy household. If things are chaotic, that's confusing to me and I can feel anxious. I really think I'd do well in a home with few people and pets where I can be the sole recipient of your love and attention. My foster mom says I'm a 'sweetheart.'
