About DD

Needed: A forever home for an adorable and sweet dog. DD is an adorable rat terrier about 6-7 years old and 14 pounds. She is friendly with lots of personality! She is looking for a forever home with someone who is good at training dogs and will be consistent with her training. Like any smart, energetic dog, she has a couple of issues - first is that she is an escape artist! She will slip past you and be out the door in a heartbeat - and she's FAST! So she will need some training to stay and wait. The second issue is that she is not fully house trained. She has been in so many different situations that I think she just needs some consistent reminders about what the house rules are. Aside from those two issues, she is delightful. She loves to go for rides in the car, loves belly rubs, is friendly with other dogs (although she does tend to think she is a big dog!), and is very sweet and loving. She is microchipped, spayed, has shots (other than rabies) and is ready for some stability in her life! (Willing to transport within 100 miles of North County.)
