About Fern

Fern is the happiest, most fun-loving dog around. His tail is usually wagging so much that his whole body wiggles. It's pretty great! Fern came into the shelter with an old scar down his back��%BD'��%BD|he's hoping it makes him look cool instead of scary since he's such a sweet boy. No telling what he's been through before coming to us as a stray! He's medium sized, but strong for his size. He's just so excited to get out of his kennel that he pulls on the leash��%BD'��%BD|he's much better about that after getting some energy out! Fern is friendly with people, but easily distracted. This makes him easy to keep entertained! He's happy with a yard to explore and sniff. He has lots of energy and will sometimes jump in excitement. He settles down and enjoys a good petting session after a bit of fun! He also loves treats and will sit on command for one if you have his focus. The best thing about Fern is how floppy his ears are. They've even been known to blow in the wind! Fern is a 5YO Staffordshire who came into the shelter as a stray on 11/8/22. He weighs 40 lbs.
