About Buzz

Meet Buzz Almost Home Foster Kennels, MN Lic. 132328 is a 501c3, not-for-profit, foster-based, rescue organization. AHFK is located in SE Minnesota in the Austin/Albert Lea area. AHFK is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue. Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia. All AHFK adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, a smoke-free environment, and a home visit. Our Adoption fee for Buzz is $300.00. All our dogs are completely vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. We are accepting applications for Buzz. Buzz is a Beagle/Hound mix. Buzz is approximately 9 years old and he is 52 pounds. Buzz is need of a furever family that will be as loyal to him as his is to his humans. This boy has been let down, yet once again when his owner's new girlfriend moved in. Buzz was originally pulled off the euthanasia list from shelter in Michigan in 2015. He had a family - but life threw them all a curve and a divorce separated the family. Buzz went with dad. But, after 4 years of living with dad and his fur-sister, the 'girlfriend moved in with a small, foo-foo dog and Buzz was once again, kicked to the curb. Buzz needs to be the only furbaby in the home. Buzz prefers to be King of His Castle; and he should be! We are looking for a family that has time to walk him, hold him, share quality time with him. Buzz is house trained, will crate, but doesn't care for it. Buzz doesn't complain and he is one of the most loyal furbabies we have had cross our threshold.
