Our sweet little Katy bug is a mid-sized, 8YO girl. Katie is great on a leash. Even when off leash in the play yard she keeps a lackadaisical pace. She's got a low energy level and mostly just wants to wonder around slowly, exercising her sniffer. She's very calm and gentle, and would be a great fit in a home with children. She's friendly and appreciates being pet, but she's also independent and happy to amuse herself. This makes her very low maintenance. Katy's not too interested in toys, but she LOVES treats. She already knows how to sit on command for one. Katy is an 8YO Staffordshire/Lab mix who came into the shelter as a stray on 9/21/22. She weighs 27 lbs.
