About Teddy

Adoption Fee: $600
Great Dane
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

LOCATION: Conroe, Texas DOB: 11/30/2018 (Estimate) Thanks for clicking on Sir Teddy! Keep reading cuz you will not be sorry! Teddy Boy loves being loved on and petted. He cannot get enough love from both adults and kids. He does great with little kids. They bring out the puppy in him for sure!!! He always makes sure to run over and nuzzle or kiss his human foster siblings if someone falls down or is crying. If his foster pawrents gave him the green light, he would love to sleep in bed with the kiddos. He definitely would do great in home where his people are home the majority of the day. He is a people follower and he is under the assumption that wherever you go in the house, you want a big Teddy dog to follow you! If you go in the bathroom-Teddy is going with you! If you go to the kitchen-Teddy is too! If you shut a door behind you and Teddy is on the other side, he will jiggle the doorknob to remind you that you forgot him! Teddy is doing great playing with his foster doggie sibling. It took a bit to warm up to each other, but his pawrents did a slow, controlled introduction and now they play and play and play for as long as Teddy can stand and then-it's time for a long nap. Teddy snores, and loudly! (He also can get a little pouty when he doesn't want to do something, and you will certainly hear about it. He likes to huff at you when he's not happy lol). He is fully housetrained. Teddy does not appreciate what wet weather does to his beautiful fur coat so on rainy days he may need a little extra nudge to go outside. He seems to think holding his potty until the rain stops is the better option. Silly boy. His bark may be loud and sound kinda scary to little humans and sometimes he even spooks himself with his own bark (so cute and funny!!), but he has shown zero aggression or dominance to anyone coming through the door. He just needs cuddles and reassurance for a few minutes that he is safe and that the person coming in is someone he can trust. He really enjoys going for walks on a leash. His excitement is evident for the first minute, but he quickly settles down and into a good pace. Teddy takes direction really well when he is needed to slow down or pause or stop during a walk. He will make a great walking buddy for someone, but no marathons for him. A couple times a day he really lets out his inner puppy and puts his personality on full display (foster mom says it's her favorite part of the day). He gets the zoomies like no other, will toss his babies (his bunny, turtle, and t-Rex) around for himself or repeatedly throw them in someone's lap to play, and he will urge his foster sister and human foster brothers to play (hide and seek or fetch or chase). Sir Teddy's favorite things: - EATING - car rides with windows down - going through the car rider line to drop off his tiny humans - his babies - forehead kisses and chest rubs - playing with the kids - the shower - being right beside his people Aren't you glad you stuck around and read til the end?!?! Told ya it would be worth it!!! ========================= To apply to adopt me, please fill out the application form! https://form.jotform.com/51994996709176
