About Rascal

If the ad is still available, we are still considering applications. No phone calls, please. Feel free to follow up in email once the application is complete. One application works for all of our dogs. Meet Rascal. This 4 year old, 65 pound, handsome guy is looking for a new home. He's a gentle soul that loves everyone. He is good with other dogs, cats, and children. He's looking for a home that has more time to spend with him and keep him more entertained. His people think he would love a dog friend in the home. In fact, Rascal loves other animals so much that he found a stray kitty who was dumped near the owners property and he brought the cat inside to officially be adopted by his family. He loves the company of other animals. Rascal knows basic commands, but could be trained to learn so much more. He's smart and eager to please. He loves to play, but he also equally likes to nap. Rascal sometimes finds pepperoni to be too much of a temptation and will still counter surf from time to time if given the opportunity. Otherwise, he is a perfect gentleman in the home. He is house trained, crate trained (but no longer needs it) and doesn't chew up anything. He is respectful of his own toys and will happily play ball and chew on his bones. He prefers indestructible balls, because he does have a bad habit of chewing up tennis balls in a flash. Rascal is not a fan of water, but will hurry outside to do his business and come back in. He likes his raincoat on for such occasions. Rascal will come with all of his belongings. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
