About RJ

RJ is a 17 pound 3 year old Schnoodle that was a stray surrendered to a local shelter in horrible shape. His coat was a solid mat, eyes crusted shut, and he had the worst ear infection we have ever seen. A nice groomer cleaned him up before he came to us, but he was very sensitive around his face. We knew why when we saw his eyes and ears. RJ was neutered, had his face cleaned up, ears flushed and treated by our vet. We were shocked at the makeover we saw that day! This boy is a true man's dog and loves his foster papa. Now that he is finished with his vetting, he is ready for his forever home. RJ is purely perfect! He is healthy except for his dry eye that he gets eye drops for daily (he hates this and we do have a technique to share with an adopter to be successful and keep everyone safe for eye drop time). RJ is house trained, crate trained, leash trained, loves his toys, and car rides are his jam! We aren't sure why, but some of the other dogs in his foster home aren't a fan of RJ despite him being sweet and great with them. RJ is great with all people, dogs, and just a great boy.
