About Lando

Much like his namesake Star Wars�㢕�%8F character, 5-year-old Lando is neither hero nor villain, friend nor enemy. He is just a regular little 12-lb. dog, taking life day by day. Lando happily shares in his humans' routines, giving licks and snuggles on your low days, tagging along to help you with your everyday house and yard chores, and zooming around in the happy moments. Lando likes patrolling the yard for squirrels, sniffing leaves and grass, and basking in the sun. He also enjoys daily walks and takes a slow, meandering stroll with his elderly canine foster brother, as well as more energetic walks and hikes with his foster mom. He is working on his leash manners to be less reactive with barking and lunging when he spots another dog or human. When not out walking, Lando is a quiet dog that loves to welcome visitors to his galaxy (home) in the hope of getting pets and belly rubs. He's fully house-trained and can be safely left to roam the indoors when you're out. In the evenings, he prefers to be on the couch or in bed with you, settling in quietly for cuddles, not moving about much. However, he will sleep in his own bed, if you prefer. Lando is well-mannered at mealtimes, both his and yours. He does have a special fondness for scrambled eggs and will keep a keen eye and nose directed toward the stove when those are cooking. That said, he takes his favorite treat, liverwurst, with ambitious gusto, so he is working on the command 'easy.' He is not much for chew treats or squeaky toys, but he does like to wrestle with his stuffed toys occasionally. Lando would like a home with a fenced yard as he likes to spend time outdoors contemplating good and evil and dreaming of universes beyond.
