About Snow

Great Pyrenees / Lab
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Meet Snow, the Ultimate Gentle Giant! Male Great Pyrenees / Lab Mix 3 to 4 years old Snow was found wandering the streets of Arkansas. A kind man kept seeing him in his yard and cared for him (and other wandering dogs) until rescue could be found. His life has changed so much since he's arrived! He no longer needs to wander the streets looking for food. Before he was rescued, he was always hungry, and he's still a bit underweight. But he knows that he will always have food and is able to relax and enjoy life in a foster home. Snow is looking for a home where he can be his great, big, beautiful self. Ideally my new family is familiar with my breed and characteristics (he LOVES to be outside). He has so much love to give and enjoys hanging out with people. You should know that he is very special dog and before you consider adopting Snow you should look up the characteristics of a Great Pyrenees. He is housebroken, and gets along well with the dogs of all ages and sizes in his foster home. He seems to enjoy car rides and long walks. He is happiest when you are petting him, and he will lean into you if you hit the right spot. He is a big dog and will need some space; he would definitely not be happy in a small apartment or in a busy city. He does enjoy the cool weather and you may find yourself having to coax him to come into the house. For a big guy, Snow is very gentle when taking treats and will sit down when asked. He is eager to please and so very grateful for the change to get off the streets. If you're looking for a big, loveable boy, Snow certainly fits the bill!
