About Alaska

Alaska is one of those dogs that you just can't capture his cuteness in photos, even when he tries hard to pose for the camera he can resemble Sid the Sloth from Ice Age... or me when I drink an entire pot of coffee in the morning ;) Alaska is a very friendly young man originally found as a stray at William Logan Stephens Jr High, it's surprising how many dogs are found at schools when most kids (and sometimes teachers) that are supposed to be attending try so hard to skip classes :P He came in very underweight and can still stand to put on a few, so he of course would make a great addition to a new home before the holidays when we all put on a few pounds ourselves ;) Alaska is a very even tempered husky that is affectionate but can enjoy time to himself and not constantly seeking attention all the time, he'd make a ideal candidate as a 'starter husky' for those with dog experience looking to add a husky to their home. He's a husky though, so while he will still likely cause you to purchase new vacuums each shedding season he won't come with too much more 'husky drama' :) HI!
