About Kane

Kane is a 6-year-old sweetheart who has an abundance of love to give. He lived most of his life with a family who had small children and played at dog parks. Kane could share his home with a dog buddy but no cats. His family could include gentle and respectful children of all ages, although sometimes he forgets his size and could accidentally knock over a tiny tot. He is excellent with all sorts of handling and is very loving, affectionate, and cuddly. He has been described as a lap lover but since he weighs about 84 pounds, perhaps he would fit more comfortably at a nice spot lying next to you. He is a smart lad and already knows the cues for 'sit', 'down' and 'shake/paw'; it would be fun for him to take some classes with you to expand his repertoire. Kane is the owner of a spectacular nose, so maybe you could practice nose work together; he might do really well finding treats and toys with his schnoz. Kane has a magnificent singing voice and can be a tad vocal if he needs to get your attention. He has been described as friendly, playful, very active and tolerant; he will be loyal to you forever. Kane does great on walks and enjoys strolling, exploring and sniffing out magnificent odors. He enjoys playing with squeaky toys and seems quite confident around novel items and situations.
