About Molly

Molly was brought in as a stray, found wondering the Florida streets alone, frightened and hungry. She was malnourished, scared and full of worms. But not to worry, since being at her foster's she has ditched the worms, gained some weight and a whole lot of confidence! Molly is a happy go lucky Basenji mix, weighting in at around 30lbs. She is less than 1 year old and comes spayed, fully vaccinated and vetted. As a Basenji, which originated as hunting dogs in the African jungle, Molly is high energy and does exhibit a strong prey drive towards squirrels, ducks, cats and birds. She is very sharp and eager to please, especially if motivated by food. She has already learned No, Sit, Stay, Shake, Other Paw, Focus and Leave it. Molly is loving and friendly to her family and with strangers, and she plays well with her foster siblings and other pups at doggy day care. A home where she will get plenty of exercise and/or a K9 partner in crime for endless play fun would be ideal. Home checks are required. Please do not contact if you are not willing to allow a home visit.
